I'm thinking that a standard SG rainbow with quints replaced with Druids might work, since you can just mutate all his creatures, he has basically no CC (unless you count emergency Overdriving, which he won't do unless he has nothing on the field), and Sundial is an effective stall. I played him with a standard rainbow, got a Druid out turn 2, and turned his 12/something Colossal Dragon in to an immaterial 2|2 Deja Vu. It probably wouldn't be as good as the Rewind or anti-vamp decks played there, but still......

A CCYB1 variant for Akebono

Code: [Select]
6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u7 6u7 749 749 749 7ai 7dq 7dq 7n3 7q5 7q5 80e 80e 80e 80h 80h 80i
Strategy:
Electrocutors for removing momentum and overdrive
Gravity Shields for blocking creature damage
Titan damage will still get through as well as one round of 8 if he plays a momentumed dragon (until you lobotomize) but SoG's help with that.
Improved Heal on last round to EM.

Adjustments:
Once your Grav Shield and Electrocutor are up, its mostly just a waiting game so FFQ and 1 Quint can be removed to increase your chance of getting the wall up faster.  Could also replace FFQ with third Lava Destroyer.

Note:
In version 1.272, healing from oversized antimattered creatures will not get through the Grav Shield.  Seems inconsistent with other antimatter behavior but haven't checked into whether a bug has been reported yet.  Just don't count on those +8's once Grav Shield is up.

Just a note to anyone trying to combine Liquid Antimatter with gravity shields:
I just tried and found out that LS/AM'ed creatures with higher then 5 hp won't heal you, nor will they damage Akebono....

Using the OP deck, you will end up having too much quanta (especially water), you only need 2 nymphs to get the combo up
and it doesnt cover the possibility should akebono rush the massive dragon early enough before you draw your nymph tear
I used :
- 5 entropy pendulum
- 6 entropy pillars
- 4 antimatters
- 2 liquid shadow
- 6 nymph tears
- 7 dark pendulum

This deck covers the possiblity, just in case you have a bad draw(you dont draw nymph tears early enough) :
- antimatters are there to counter early massive dragon rush, it allows you to survive longer until you draw you nymphs tears
- Liquid shadow to counter the early antimattered>overdrived massive dragon

This deck works with a huge percentage, but it is full upgraded and with 3 rares. I didn't test unupgraded.
No need of additional rt, copy one eternity with your crusader, the rest goes to copy the titan.

I tried this today and found that it was much more reliable and much more quick then the Nymph's Tears versions. You need alot less quanta to get your combo going.

Was an easy win, and it should work unupgraded.
