a deck do not have flying creatures lost atuomatically because you have 1 shield? this is terrible
Actually, any deck that does not have flying creatures, or steal, or explosion, or pulverizer, momentum, or mutation will lose automatically.

But, I still think there should be some nerf to it.

Can we call the card "Red Bull?"  It gives you wings, so it's logical...

Arsenic is a problem... not sure about how to deal with that yet. Should it keep the poisonous skill? What do you call something poisonous and airborne at the same time?
How about 'poisonous, airborne' - it would give the appearance of the card having two passive skills while being implemented as one. Really no need to code a second passive skill if not necessary.

Way overpowered, and it feels out of sync with the rest of elements. As of now, elements works quite differently from other CCGs, because it doesn't really have creature types and permanent types the way other games have them. You can't play a card that makes it impossible for anybody's creatures to attack unless he has a spellcaster. This card is pushing the game in that direction. This card will single-handedly counter way too many decks, by my understanding of it. Fire shield and Spine carapace counter many decks, too, but they're much less specific. Cards with momentum or a lot of health can handle them, and you still take damage. Hope, the biggest damage-preventer of the day, is vulnerable to any mass-creature control, which includes many cards.

Wings is only vulnerable to your opponent having specific creatures. I hate that, because it's not about strategy anymore, it's about having particular creatures of certain types in your deck, and that's stupid to me. All the other cards affect other cards with a general attribute. Electrocuter affects cards with active abilities. This card is essentially asking the other player if he, for no particular reason, has certain cards in his deck. That's simply not fair to me. Dusk mantle and fog shield affect all creatures equally. All the other shields only differentiate between cards' health and attack, and I want it to stay this way. This deck single-handedly counters too many cards. I don't like that aspect to most card games. It shouldn't matter if you have a specific "genre" of cards in your deck, it should matter if you can deal with particular strategies. If you have a way to counter your opponent having lots of healing, or a gravity shield, or a lot of scarabs, etc.

I vote no, no, no, no, no to this card.
Agrees 110%.

Finaly I find someone else in here with the same wiews as myself.

i think the card is fine. phase shield blocks everything. if every dragon and creature in the game, that has wings on its picture can bypass it, then its good.
what about spells, destruction, stealing, etc? they still work.

also, there is allways momentum. so titan, sapphire charger  co. can still hit you. no need for an upkeep or counter imo. a high card cost is enough.

as for the name, i think its appropriate. i mean, they ARE wings.

of course, these are just guesses of mine. these discussion threats should be locked, until the corresponding cards have been implemented in the trainer and had a chance to be tested by the community. until then, its hard to forsee the effect a card will have on the game.

edit.: just realized, that this card is already available in the trainer. but still, some other cards aren't and there is allready dicussion going on.

Sorry, I couldnt read the whole topic in the little time I have at the moment. So maybe I say something again, that was already mentioned 10 times.

I totally agree.
The only ways to get rid of permanents are Steal, Deflag, and Trident yes?
Or did I forget one? That means in each Mono-Deck (not  :darkness, :fire, :water) you have no way to destroy this cards. In rainbow decks combined with PA you cant get rid of it at all.
So you cant win without having flying creatures in your deck.
Some elements only have 1 flying creature, mostly the dragons, and those have much hp(almost all of them).
So if you start building up dragon decks you will have again a great problem facing a deck with gravity shield. And even if you add less hp creatures in addition to the dragons, although dragon are expensive enough alone you will not have enough dmg output and in each case dead cards.
In addition, the more strong shields you add the greater will momentum and especially Mono - :gravity become, because it will  simply ignores the shield. Other Mono-decks will breake their tooths on several shields...
I think if you add this ability, it will become a bit like Pokemon or so.
Like: Fire-->Leaf-->Water-->Rock-->Air and so on.
I mean you will really get a great disadvantage just by facing the wrong deck. A disadvantage that mostly mean losing right from the start.
And even an upkeep isnt a problem. The times I saw someone playing Flooding the upkeep wasnt a problem either.

Don't forget Pulverizer, Butterfly Effect, as well as mutants. If you counted in Trident, I could say Earthquake, too.

whoops,  :))
I mixed it up, you are right. I wanted to say pulverizer not Trident, so forget about the earthquake. ;)
And I totally forgot the other two things, but with PA its unimportant anyway. In a small Rainbow deck you wont play your keycard without PA if not really really necessary.
And thanks for the correction.

So for all: correct my previous comment in your mind when you read it ;)

vampires
Bats can fly there buddy.
As far as I know, the Vampires in Elements haven't ever turned into bats.

Now doesn't that sound like a fun morph for the card...

I still don't understand how this card is OP at all.  I may not be a fan of  :air but I still find this a fun shield to have.  There are many, MANY counters to this shield, the most basic of which is using one of the quarter of the creatures in the game that can ignore the shield.

I believe that this will be a very nice addition to the game, and will actually provide a nice counter to all of those darn rush decks.
