I'm thinking of throwing a darkness pendulum or three and a cloak or three in there. That would protect my UG's from steals and Deflags and Butterfly effects. Save up mana while hourglassing five gasses up, drop a cloak, five gasses, then...

Unstable gaz cost 6 manas, is not ever easy to put in the battlefield. It's because I use it in a deck with Dragon Flies and I add some creatures just to gain time... ^^

Yo win some time, CC and denial is the best you can have.  has fog shield and shockwave for that, 2 powerful cards. Ohh and the first UG will blow the dragonflies up lol

The first time I encountered this card, I didn't know that "stable" means "stabilized", I thought it means "can be stabbed". I thought, "Unstable Gas? The gas who can't be stabbed? Aren't all gasses can't be stabbed as well?". Opponent activated it. "Oh, it explodes when it gets stabbed, I see.". Years later I was ashamed when I know what does "stable" mean.
