Actually, we're one of the more effective teams against Time. 2-2

Time shouldn't bring PC against Darkness though, that's true. To confirm what deck they'd likely send though, I'd like to look at what they usually send. They're 1-1 with Darkness.

Mkay, first matchup was Novadeck vs. Devtal: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,33300.0.html
Second was GrabbyGhost vs. Poison duo: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,33835.0.html

Darkness' vault is, of course, much smaller now. What would Time likely send against Darkness' limited vault?

I will rewrite what I found about time potential decks...
Time has a poison deck with rt, they can keep wings if they think we will come with graboids here, they have a fractal gotp with rt and Ds to stall if needed, they have a stall with sanct also, plus they have many graboids and hourglases that we need to think of.

Darkness has a vampires + poison deck and a ghostmare deck.  It is really unlikely that they will use they're own ghostmare there.  Wings are a gamble but since they expect the vampire deck it's way unlikely.  So they can go with with graboid deck with novas , the poison deck with rt, a stall with sanct or a graboid rush.

the stall ain't that good for us, but I figure by adding 1 more dragon for the damage, we sould do fine.  All the other options are fine for us.. so we basiccly get rid of the ghostmare option against us!

When we have not much time to decide, then I agree with mrpapers idea.
It seems, we can play a stall against time too, if they expect to play against darkness. But mono aether would be fine too. Or am I wrong?

Then remains the question of what we will send against our original Time matchup.

Don't forget the light / time stall either. The event card seems confusing and tricky at the same time.

Duo aether and entropy sounds better to me. With so many rts and a couple eternities in their decks, it seems like the best option.

DrunkDestroyer has offered to swap matches with me just to throw Entropy off. He wants to take down the leader just like me.
I'd like to do this if we can build something for what Entropy would likely send against Air (Pandebonium or Discord deck).

I've been thinking a bit about our additional Time matchup, and I've noticed they're not unlikely to send one of two decks against Darkness: PoisonDial and Light stall. MA will lose to the first and should only lose to the second if they've added Miracle.

They may very well send Fire Duo or PoisonDial against us.

pandemonium can easily be beaten with mono aether or poison with dragons, discord can be beaten with graboids... but grabs will be crushed by pandemonium unless they all stay burrow and we add only spells ans dragons with the rest of the quanta ( no risky creatures).  But then again, that exact same deck could be played with a switch from air or not.  Higs, I believe the call is yours... if you can build something like the grabs I mentioned or an even better deck and this deck would win more if they believe it's from air, take the trade, otherwise, we must contact TORB as soon as possible. (I'd like to tell him what we decide soon no matter what)

We'll go for trying to throw Entropy off. I think all teams should try to take down the leader in Wars or they'd be very boring and uneven. What would Entropy use against Time compared to us? We need a versatile deck either way, so I'm thinking Grabbow is probably our best bet. It's a good deck against Entropy to begin with.

oki, well Higs going for a graboid deck means we probably need to field 1 MA and 1 bonebolt.  I would like to use the mono aether here since they have countered the bonebolt quite well and it is still expected from us... while life is really limited and can't really escape it.

This should do enough damage to beat a stall, is immune against RT and is not that weak against ghostmare since lightning and shields are mostly keepers  .. It would be what i'd like to use.

Since everyone is worked up with strategies and deck choices. I'll approach from the vault perspective;

Looking at Higs graboid intent and mrpaper's MA intent;

- If mrpaper uses mono with 15 pillars/pendulums
- If Higs uses graboid with 6 pillars / pendulums
- We are going to have zero pillars / pendulums. We need to convert just enough for 3rd deck, whatever that deck would be. The average should be 13, give or take 1-2, depending on 3rd deck & higs pillar demand on graboid.

As for the 3rd deck, the options can be;
- Fractix
- Fractal vampires
- MA with PU recluses
- Bonebolt with fractal mummies
- Bonebolt stall
- Some entropy duo with PU dragons w or wo flying discords

Save & Salvage options:

Option 1:
    We would have fractix andFractal vampire decks alive for future rounds.Empower our depleted fractals from 2 to 9Increase phase spiders from 2 to 3 for future phase recluse PU deck.Barely sufficient  (13) conversions for r7's 3rd deck

1x Graboid -> 1xAether Pendulum
2x Lightning (from 19 in vault to 17. should be enough) -> 3xAether Pillar
2x Parallel Universe (from 10 to 8. should be enough) -> 1x Aether Pillar

13 pillar / pendulum cards for 3rd deck.

Option 2:
Sacrifice fractal vampires and sacrifice 1-2 more aether cards compared to option 1, to get some entropy duo deck like this (not saying ideal, just to give an idea. Can also have antimatters and stuff);

2x Fractal (from 9 to 7) -> 2x Aether Pendulum
1x Dimensional shield (from 11 to 10) -> 1x Aether Pendulum

Option 3: We give up fractal vampires deck to save more :aether cards.
Option 4: We give up fractix deck to save more :aether cards.
Option 5: We loot them little frog buddies to make a fractal frog deck.

More options etc.

* We can also sneak 1-2 discords to Higurashi's graboid deck.
* In both of the options i reduced the graboids from 5 to 4. We can keep it at 5 and discard something else. I just thought Utalan proved that even 3 was enough.

as I have said.. the only winning deck life has left is a stall, so we must have deflags against it.  Fractix would do the trick.  Or a mono aether with mark of fire and deflags.  They are stuck with that or leftovers, so lightnings will be really helpful here too.  And of course this deck need some power to counter the massive potential healing life has.
