Quite useless as Anubis is a lot cheaper. Though it may be useful in a monodeck (if you can win nymphs and not only create them by using the tears)

Well it does have 2 more attack than anubis, though a major defense reduction. and yeah, getting a nymph without using tears, if Zanz goes through with making the nymphs available as like mondo-uber-rare special cards, good luck getting more than one in your deck. But that's still in the works from last i heard.

This nymph is good if you want multiple immortality without splashing time (in case quintessence isn't enough) but it can be controlled/killed in many ways as soon as it's summoned... not really good in my opinion...

It could be a bit better than Anubis, as it's Mono-viable, can hit hard enough itself, and fits under a Gravshield. I'd Quint it right away and then Imma other creatures with this.

Putting quintessence AND this card in a mono aether is a bit redundant, IMO...

If you can pay the 9 cost to play, you can use its ability pretty easily, but why not reduce it to only 2?

But it enables me to have this card safe. 7/2 is like one of the worst configurations: Can be nommed by even a standard Oty, paradoxed, sniped, icebolted, firebolted, Aflatoxin does 1 turn of work... leaving such a fragile alone for even one turn unprotected is unwise. That's why one Quint sauld be taken.

I know bob :) that's why I said this card is not really good... it forces you to take extra cards you don't really need only to keep this safe from danger... it's too fragile and expensive...

Maybe to remove some of the redundancy with Quinessence, the Turquise Nymph's ability is set on a timer, and reduced in cost.

e.g.
COST = (1 or 2) aether quanta
EFFECT = Target creature becomes immortal (untargetable) for 3 turns.

This might be worth it's high cost if it started immortal.

I agree... why not make this immortal too?
