It's pretty ok to run a few of these in a mono-aether deck as to counteract the shield that stops creatures with 5+ hp, like the aether dragons have.

Yeah, I don't prefer Immortals, either. I think they should be given a buff.

Wait... they already were given a buff. I think I have to update these images ;)

Still, they're very weak. 6 :aether for 4 damage? 7 :aether for 5? I think their costs should be decreased to 5/6 :aether or their attacks should be increased to 5/6 damage.

I´m with you icy. As it really was "immortal" this price-damage-ratio might have been ok, but as fire buckler, turtle shield, permafrost shield and spine carpace affect immortalized (or immortal ore quinted or whatever) creatures it should be given much more power. Call me radical in this point, but i´d rather buff both, cost and damage (5 :aether / 5 dmg; 6 :aether 6 dmg), because playing this card as it is now could be called stupid or whatever.

The cost is enormous next to those little attack points.

This card costs too much to play...

I think it needs a second ability.

yeah i dont like this card at all :(. i can easily defeat an enemy that uses these cards with permafrost/ice shield. i think they need to be buffed again to lower the cost substantially.

indeed a very worthy reason ;). but in all seriousness i think they really need a complete makeover (well maybe not complete). weak and unused on the whole. nice idea and cool card, just needs a buff.

Dear goddess is it lookin' sexy now. The Immortal, so suave, so stylish, so.. eternal. Now buff it plox. Yeah, -1 cost or +1 attack would do the trick as I've been saying for aaaaages. :>
