It's a basic build for mono aether. What's the difference? Well, the stats:

Versus AI4 (Halfbloods):

Total Games: 20
Win Rate: 75%
EM Rate: 0%
TTW: 11.53
UEI: 3121.5

Versus Bronze Arena:

Total Games: 20
Win Rate: 100%
EM Rate: 15%
TTW: 12.1
UEI: 1904.29
SSPH: 5.5

Therefore, with over 3k UEI versus AI4, it'll be giving you a profit within 3 hours. And against bronze it will be netting you more than 5 rares per hour. So, for just 9k electrum, you are getting 150% of the performance of the best unupped decks.

I do realize that 20 tests are not really good to determine the proper numbers, but it's a start. I intend to perform 50 game tests very soon, and also to try out silver. Any help with testing is also appreciated.

Some notes on playing:

1. Do NOT auto-quit versus reflective/jade shield.Just stop playing Psions, and lobotomize them if you can. The AI will replace it soon, so just try to survive till then.
2. Start a Dimshield chain at turn 4-5 for optimal chaining. Of course, try to see if you can rush your opponent with just Psions.
3. Early on, you may be better off discarding a Fractal rather than a Psion, as that second Fractal rarely comes into play. Always discard a Fractal if you have 3 in your hand.

The main secret about reflect shields is that the AI has a very low value for them. So the AI tries to replace 'em ASAP. If you can, try to hold on till that happens.
Adding 1 or 2 lobos can also help, as you can then lobotomize your own psions against reflect shield.

Phase Dragon's just too expensive, and this deck needs to keep quanta fluid.

1-2 Phase Dragons work fine in Psiontal. I run +1 Psion and +1 Phase Dragon if I don't have 2 Lobos. How viable it is depends on the opponent: if you're running into craptons of mass-CC stalls with healing, a Phase Dragon can certainly save yer bacon. Usually though, 6 Psions is more profitable since speed = electrum.

the idea is to upgrade that shield and maybe swap the lightning for another psion

3 Psions is too low. Even with my 5 Psion mod I've lost many games due to getting Psion too late (by which time I'd have my hand clogged with dims and fractal). The lightning is unnecessary, as Lobo + Dims makes your opponent's creatures obsolete. So yeah, definitely replace the lightning with a Psion. You can also switch a Fractal for a Psion, though it might be a bit risky.

As I noted when I featured this deck in Surviving the Elements (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puX_MdTZl0Y), it's a shame PVP1 isn't working so I can try out this deck there. It's a fun deck, and it works much faster than most unupped mono's I've tried. Thanks for submitting it.

I am using this deck to farm the Silver league and AI4 although slightly modified. I feel that adding 2 Lobos increases the win rate. I upgraded most of the cards now, but it worked perfectly also completely unupped. I have a 95% win rate in Silver and slightly less in AI4 (because of Reflect which is more often used in AI4 compared to Arena).

I had also a few lucky wins in Gold arena, but I wouldn't recommend using it there, however this deck is not merely a AI3 farmer.
